1990

FARO moves from Quebec, Canada to Florida, USA.

1995

FARO introduces the first FaroArm^®, an articulating measurement arm for the industrial market.

1996

FARO expands into the European market.

1997

FARO goes public on the American NASDAQ stock exchange under the symbol “FARO.”

2000

FARO expands into the Asian market.

2008

FARO named to Forbes’ list of America’s 25 fastest-growing tech companies.

2011

FARO Focus3D is named as a best new innovation by Popular Science magazine.

2013

FARO announced as one of the Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies by Fortune Magazine.

2019

Michael Burger is named president and CEO.

2023

Peter Lau is named president and CEO.
